I thought it would be nice to share progress updates this year so here it goes.
Many of these seeds were planted around April 13 and here’s how they look on May 1 here in zone 8b.
A summer squash has sprouted.
So has Zucchini.
Plus a sugar baby watermelon
One bean plant
I see some bush peas
Potato vines are dying so I’ll be able to get potatoes soon.
Peppers are re-budding after I pruned them.
A few seeds did not germinate (Lima beans, nasturtiums) but others passed a seed viability test and will go in the garden soon.
I have a very sunny bed that I’ve been chasing ants 🐜 out of and it will be home to some new seedlings.
Oh and let’s not forget cilantro.
We will show you later how everything is progressing one + week after this with a couple of good rains. On a final note, below is a message from my daughter.
